Network Challenges

A mode where one or more players cooperate to fight against a greatly strengthened CPU.
When there are not enough human players, normal CPUs take their place. (The characters are random.)

The challenge succeeds if the opponent is in 2nd place or lower at the end of the match, or if you make the opponent go bust (dobon).
If any player other than the opponent goes bust, the challenge fails on the spot.
If the opponent and another player go bust at the same time, it counts as a successful challenge.
The opponents are basically set to the highest levels of both Intimidation and Resistance, so characters with points in Intimidation and Resistance are almost essential.

No.01
Opponents Saki Miyanaga (Socks-Off Saki)
Clear reward 200 coin
Notes Recommended character: Sae Usuzawa
Strategy Block only the opponent with Sae's ability.
Note that Sae's ability cannot prevent ron.
If you have trained with everything allocated to Intimidation and Resistance, there is almost no worry of losing.

No.02
Opponents Koromo Amae (Full Moon Koromo)
Clear reward 200 coin
Notes Recommended character: Sae Usuzawa
Strategy The basics are the same as No. 1, but Koromo wears down your Spirit relentlessly.
Since you may become unable to block in the latter half,
it is best not to renchan and to end hands quickly, including your own deals.

No.03
Opponents Cold Touka
Clear reward 200 coin
Notes Recommended character: Sae Usuzawa
Strategy A challenge that could be called the hardest.
Because with Touka's ability you can't win by tsumo except through a successful Intimidation,
make sure never to let Touka win and aim for ron.

No.04
Opponents Kaori Senoo (Lucky Kaori)
Clear reward 100 coin
Notes Recommended character: Sae Usuzawa
Strategy The basics are the same as No. 1 and that works fine.
Even if her ability activates, blocking her will prevent her tsumo.
If her ability activates and yours gets broken, just redo it honestly.

No.05
Opponents Teru Miyanaga (All-Out Teru)
Clear reward 200 coin
Notes Recommended characters: Sae Usuzawa and Awai Oohoshi
Strategy Sae is the same as No. 1. With Awai, just activate the ability and wear her down.

No.06
Opponents Takami Shibuya (Last-Dealer Takami)
Clear reward 100 coin
Notes Recommended character: Awai Oohoshi
Strategy Bust them with a double riichi ippatsu before entering the final round (orasu).

No.07
Opponents Awai Oohoshi (Double Riichi)
Clear reward 200 coin
Notes Recommended character: Awai Oohoshi
Strategy The second hardest. The destructive power of double riichi and the 5-shanten are quite troublesome.
Use Awai to drag it into a quagmire.

No.08
Opponents Man Uwashige (Burst Man)
Clear reward 200 coin
Notes Recommended character: Sae Usuzawa
Strategy If you keep her blocked, her burst is not very scary.
Just watch out for dealing in.

No.09
Opponents Kasumi Ishito (Zetsu Ichimon Kasumi)
Clear reward 200 coin
Notes Recommended character: Awai Oohoshi
Strategy You can win just by having the ability active.

No.10
Opponents Saki Miyanaga (Socks-Off Saki)
Teru Miyanaga (All-Out Teru)
Clear reward 400 coin
Notes If you bust either of them it ends on the spot, but
for the challenge to succeed, the partner needs to be in 2nd place or lower.
Recommended character: Awai Oohoshi
Strategy You can win by declaring double riichi with Awai while adjusting so as not to bust your ally,
so it is good to occasionally ron one of them during double riichi to adjust the scores.
